Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering

 The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BS CpE) is one of the flagship programs offered under the College of Engineering of the Southern Luzon State University main campus. The campus is situated in the Town of Lucban, province of Quezon. Briefly, the BS CpE course aims to produce a professional who would effectively address the scientific, technological and various business, industry, and community needs globally. Such professional must have and able to apply engineering principles and methodologies in analyzing, designing, implementing, managing various computer systems or by the so called Information and Communications Technology.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

To prepare the students for professional Computer Engineering careers including roles in the design, analysis and applications of computing in the areas of business, industries and communities in the global economy with strong scientific and technological expertise. The graduates must also possess strong foundation in the physical, basic engineering sciences, and must have good ethical and professional conduct enabling them to cope with the challenges of the rapid technological developments.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

 The graduates of Computer Engineering program must:

• be prepared for planning, designing, developing, managing computing projects;
• environmental conscious;
• be able tos provide appropriate technical support;
• be knowledgeable on law concerning the issues on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR);
• engage in continuing professional development; and
• prepared for graduate work and be able to do research and development projects.
